Large abstract work made on raw zinc sheet. In a beehive society that is becoming the standard in many megacities, the escape to nature, traditions and past seems to be the only way out. An exodus whose goal is the introspection and a deep intimacy.

Cor-Ten is a great construction metal, as it combines atmosferic CORrosion resistance and TENsile strnght. But as design and architectural material it has been over used…and abused.

Inserted in the thread on the study of matter and the interaction between light, particles and cosmic events, this abstract work on brass brings on the theme of relativity and the space-time relation.
In ordinary space, a position is specified by three numbers, known as dimensions. A position in spacetime is called an event, and requires four numbers to be specified: the three-dimensional location in space, plus the position in time. Spacetime is thus four dimensional. An event is something that happens instantaneously at a single point in spacetime, represented by a set of four coordinates.

Everything has an origin: this work on stainless steel represents the beginning of Just Pure Metal art by Jan Koralberg.
As suggested by the title, this is one of the first creations, made in 2009, at the dawn of the technique developed and perfected over the years:
A prehistoric art of the Artist, as he himself likes to define it.

HOLOGRAPHIC PRINCIPLE
HOLOGRAPHIC PRINCIPLE – 100 x 150 cm – ZINC
Large abstract work made on raw zinc, started in 2016, completed in March 2018.
It was conceived to deal with the most unknown subject: the Holographic Principle, concept of quantum gravity.
This, among other things, solves a paradox of string theory; among the distinguished physicists who have contributed (and still work) to the formulation of this immense theory, there is the name of Stephen Hawking, who died on March 14, 2018. This mourning in the world of science has led to a rapid completion of the work dedicated to him.
On the event horizon, observable limit of a black hole, there is in fact the date of the illustrious scientist’s death, as well as the formula with which he himself asked to be remembered.
As postulated, thanks to the Holographic Principle information is not lost, but remains etched and clear by resisting cosmic forces like that of a black hole … And of Death itself.

Started in 2017, the Dualitree Project is about the study of Nature through the interaction between the metal surface, light and matter.

STEEL SKY
STEEL SKY – 100 x 100 cm – Stainless Steel (Acciaio Inox)
This abstract work, on a 1 sqm stainless steel plate, is inspired by a futuristic cyberpunk world, where only overcoming the clouds, what was once a good of all Humanity can be still admired: the light of the Sun . Looking up, all that remains is a Steel Sky.
Modern artists bother to find a way to impress and express making a new creative art, sometimes by shocking art ideas, other times by minimal works; but the fact is that even creative artist offer no real art innovations, just a reinventing and a reproposal of old art techniques. In this "already seen" scenario, metal art regain this traditional art material. Creative art expressed by modern metal art is an endeavour to reinvent the metal as modern art material but, a lot of times, it is used just as a “base”: this leads to diminishing the metal as modern art material instead of elevating it to metal art. Honestly, I wouldn’t call me a modern artist, not even a creative artist, much more a real metal artist: my metal art comes form a new technique of mine which changes the metal in its depths. My metal art is not “using the modern metal to make something artistic”, while I turn metal to become art itself.
